AI Mod Copilot

A staff-only AI copilot that summarizes a member's mod history into a risk briefing and polishes rough notes into clean mod-log reasons — advisory only.

What it does

,copilot is an AI assistant for your moderation team. It does two staff-facing jobs, and both are advisory only — the copilot never takes any action itself. It reads, suggests, and you decide.

  1. Case review — summarize a member's full moderation history into a short risk briefing.
  2. Reason polishing — turn a rough staff note into a clean, neutral mod-log reason string.

Aliases: ,aicase, ,modai.

Case review — ,copilot @user

Run ,copilot @user (or ,aicase @user) and exceed feeds that member's existing cases and staff notes to Gemini, which returns a tidy staff briefing with four parts:

  • Risk — one of Low, Moderate, High, or Severe, with a one-line justification.
  • Patterns — a sentence on any recurring behaviour or escalation across the cases (or "No clear pattern").
  • Suggested action — one proportionate action staff could consider, framed as advice.
  • Suggested reason — a clean, copy-ready mod-log reason string.

The briefing is built only from the real case history — the AI is instructed not to invent incidents, and if the history is light it says so and keeps the risk low. The result is posted as an embed footed with "AI suggestion · advisory only, staff decide."

Reason polishing — ,copilot reason <note>

When you're about to log a punishment and your note is rough, run:

,copilot reason spamming the same link in general after being told to stop

The copilot rewrites it into one clean, neutral, professional mod-log reason (under 200 characters, no markdown). It won't add a punishment you didn't mention or invent details that aren't in your note — it just tidies up what you wrote. Copy the polished line, edit if you like, and use it.

How to enable it

The copilot is off until an admin turns it on:

  • ,copilot enable (or ,copilot disable) — requires the Manage Server permission.

Once enabled, any staff member with the Manage Messages permission can use ,copilot and ,copilot reason. It is never exposed to regular members.

Warning: The copilot is a decision aid, not a decision maker. It only suggests — it cannot ban, mute, or warn anyone. Always review the risk level and suggested action against your own judgement and server rules before acting.

Usage limits

Both modes make a single Gemini call against your server's shared monthly AI allowance, with a short per-user cooldown. Because it's staff-triggered and low-volume, it barely touches your budget. If the server has hit its monthly cap, the copilot is unavailable until it resets — see Usage & Limits.
